Muscat - 5 August 2014: Bank Muscat, the leading financial institution in the Sultanate, announced its success in providing banking services to its valued customers during the Renaissance Day and Eid al-Fitr holidays. The electronic banking services, which included cash withdrawals and cash deposit transactions were provided through the ATMs/CDMs located in various governorates and wilayats of the Sultanate. In this connection, a number of customers expressed their satisfaction about the electronic banking services provided by the bank during the holiday period, especially the availability of cash across the country. In addition, the bank's Call Centre also succeeded in offering banking services required by the bank's customers and responding to calls and queries.
During the holiday period, the bank worked around the clock to ensure the availability of ample cash in all the ATMs spread in various governorates and wilayats of the Sultanate and also the proper functioning of these machines in order to be able to meet the customer requirements for cash withdrawal and for fund transfer services. The working team coordinated with various regional management offices and branches in all the governorates of the Sultanate with the aim of monitoring banking operations during the Eid holiday and offering technical assistance to ensure the continuity of business as usual through all the (437) art-of-the-state and high quality ATMs and (171) CDMs located across the country. These modern machines, equipped with the latest technology in the field of information security, operate round the clock and offer various banking services which the customers can benefit from.

The bank had announced earlier on about its readiness to offer various banking services through its electronic channels during the Eid holiday period. These services, provided through the electronic channels, included cash withdrawals and cash deposit transactions through ATMs/CDMs located across the Sultanate in addition to mBanking services and the Call Centre.
