Complementary cover for holders of Bank Muscat credit cards

As the holder of an eligible Bank Muscat credit card, you are automatically covered for complementary travel Takaful, purchase protection and rental cars protection covers. List of eligible cards:

Travel Takaful Certificate

The benefits under travel Takaful are only applicable when travelling outside Oman and paying at least 50% of the travel ticket value using the Bank Muscat credit card.*
Travel Takaful is extended to Bank Muscat card holder, card holder’s spouse and up to 3 children (up to age 18 years or up to age 23 years if in full time education).*

Apply for Travel Takaful Certificate

Please email the following documents to BMenquiries[a]takafuloman.om

• Application form, download by click here
• Copy of flight tickets with total fare
• Copy of credit card payment receipt showing payment at least 50% of the travel ticket with the Bank Muscat credit card

Timelines

If complete documents with all the required information are received by 12pm, travel Takaful certificate will be issued the same day by 5pm.
If complete documents with all the required information are received after 12pm, travel Takaful certificate will be issued by 12pm the next working day.
Requests received during weekends and public holidays will be attended to the next working day.
