MUSCAT, 10 March 2015 – Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, as part of its commitment to promoting the development of youth and the national game of football, has joined hands with Oman Football Association (OFA) to make His Majesty's Cup Football Championship a memorable experience for football enthusiasts in Oman. Sayyid Khalid Al Busaidi, Chairman of Oman Football Association, and AbdulRazak Ali Issa, Chief Executive of Bank Muscat, signed an agreement endorsing the bank as presenting partner of His Majesty's Cup. The quarter finals of the HM Cup begins in the week ahead with Bank Muscat as the official partner for the tournament.
Sayyid Khalid Al Busaidi commented: “The OFA are honoured to be working with Oman's leading bank. The partnership has begun on a high note of optimism with all involved keen to ensure that the HM Cup is elevated to a new level of football excitement through Bank Muscat's support. Shabib al Hosni, CEO of the Oman Professional League, who was in attendance at the signing ceremony said: “The HM Cup tournament is open to all Omani teams and the championship is a unique experience for the people of Oman."
