Bank Muscat wins Best Bank in Oman award by Euromoney

MUSCAT, 17 June 2016 – Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, has won the 'Best Bank in Oman' award by Euromoney. The prestigious award in recognition of outstanding contributions to the banking sector in Oman and the region was based on evaluation of a series of criteria, including the product mix, financial performance, asset and revenue quality, customer satisfaction, IT systems and offerings.

Omar Al Musafir, Chief Representative Officer, UAE Representative Office, received the award at the high profile Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2016 ceremony held in Dubai in the presence of top banking and corporate leaders of the region.

The Bank posted net profit of RO 90.47 million for the period compared to RO 89.82 million reported during the same period in 2015, an increase of 0.7 per cent.
