Bank Muscat leads Omani companies in Forbes Top 500 in Arab World

MUSCAT,1 July 2015 – Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, has topped Omani companies ranked in the Forbes Top 500 Companies in the Arab World 2015. The bank was ranked 44 in the Top 500 Companies awards which celebrated the region's corporate success. The rankings were based on financial performance as of December 2014 and featured publicly-listed companies across Arab countries.

In 2014, Bank Muscat topped Omani companies in the Forbes Top 500 ranking and in 2010, the bank had the distinction of being the only Omani company to be listed in 'The Forbes Global 2000' featuring the biggest and most powerful listed companies of the world. In recognition of banking excellence, Bank Muscat is the recipient of all prestigious foreign, regional and local awards.
