A month of exciting Ramadhan activities at bank muscat

MUSCAT, 30 June 2014 – Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, has lined up a series of social, cultural and religious activities to mark the Holy Month of Ramadhan. The month-long celebrations targeted at the family, offers an opportunity for all to participate in numerous Ramadhan programmes at the bank’s head office.

The varied Ramadhan activities organised by the bank include Iftar gatherings for stakeholders and customers. Meethaq Islamic Banking has lined up a series of Ramadhan lectures by renowned scholars while the SME department is hosting an exhibition to support women entrepreneurs. As part of the bank’s ongoing staff engagement programme, various cultural, literary and sports activities will also be organised. The bank will also extend support to needy homes across the Sultanate as part of its ‘Tadhamun’ social initiative. The objective of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative is to address the requirements of beneficiary homes which do not have basic home furniture. Through Tadhamun programme, the bank seeks to contribute to improving the living standards of limited income sections in society.

“The Ramadhan initiative marks yet another affirmation of the close relations between Bank Muscat and the largest banking family in Oman. We invite everyone to join the Ramadhan activities at Bank Muscat head office,” a bank official said.
