MUSCAT, 2 July 2014 - Meethaq, the pioneer of Islamic banking in Oman from Bank Muscat, will host a series of seminars and workshops in different parts of the Sultanate in partnership with "Glory Makers ", under the title of "How to achieve your spiritual goals in Ramadhan". The seminars are held with the aim of enhancing awareness on a number of humanitarian and cultural aspects among the Omani Society, and will be conducted by renowned professors and lecturers.
The first seminar will be held on Thursday, 3th July 2014, at Al S'aada Grand Mosque in the Governorate of Dhofar and will be given by Abdullah Ali AL Shahri. The Seminar titled: "How to achieve your spiritual goals in Ramadhan". Another lecture will be held in Al Buraimi at AbdulAziz Al Qasmi Grand Mosque and will be delivered by Khalifa Al Eisaei. In addition, one of the most important lectures will be held on Friday, 11 July 2014, at the Grand Mosque after Juma prayer and will be given by Dr. Majdi Ubaid titled: "Life without tension".

Meethaq also launched first-of-its-kind Islamic credit card in the Sultanate without subscription fees in the first year. The card is Shari'a based offering a wide range of facilities and services. In addition, Meethaq launched a photography competition on Instagaram as well as a full programm throughout Ramdhan in different channels of social media including competitions and interactive activities.
