MUSCAT, 18 October 2015 - Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, in step with its 'Let's Do More' vision and commitment to partnership in women empowerment initiatives, celebrated the Omani Women's Day with a series of activities. A festive atmosphere prevailed at the head office and branches where women employees extended the hand of friendship and traditional Omani hospitality to colleagues and women customers in appreciation of the valuable contributions of women to the family, society and nation.
The highlights of the celebrations included a workshop on 'work-life balance' organised at the head office addressed by Dr. Yasmin Al Balushi, Assistant Dean Support & Student Affairs, College of Banking & Financial Studies. The celebrations attended by members of the Management Team and senior bank officials echoed praise and appreciation of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said for the support extended to Omani women in all spheres, especially the designation of a day in honour of Omani woman and the excellent position women enjoy in society.
