MUSCAT, 29 December 2015 - Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, in step with its 'Let's Do More' vision and partnership to promote Oman as a sporting nation, extended lead support to a bowling tournament organised by Sultan Qaboos University. Bank Muscat Shababi, the first youth banking service in Oman, utilised the opportunity to reaffirm support for the country's youth.

Targeted at Omani youth in the age group of 18 to 25, Shababi fulfills the long-felt need of specialised banking services for this segment. In 2015, youth opening a Shababi account with just RO 10 were eligible for a chance to win RO 300 every month. In all, there were 45 winners every month in the youth category of al Mazyona savings scheme.
