Muscat, 29June 2016: Coinciding with the summer holidays, and in line with the bank's vision “Let's do more", Bank Muscat, has launched “Terhal", travel services with special banking features and facilities. Oman's first-of-its-kind product is in alignment with strategies aimed at providing a distinct banking experience aimed at customers interested in tourism and travel.
Bank Muscat will target Oman's fast-growing tourism and travel sector, with its high number of travelers in the Sultanate, especially during summer holidays.. Customers will be able to obtain finance up to RO 10,000, at 3.5% interest rate, repayable over 12 months. Terhal customers will receive a bank muscat Oman Air credit card plus a superior travel insurance package.
In addition, customers will benefit from superior travel insurance package comprising lost passport, flight postponement or cancellation, emergency medical expenses and services, plus personal incidents and lost luggage. Customers will also receive Bank Muscat Oman Air credit card and earn Oman Air's free Sindbad miles.
