Thousands join al Mazyona celebrations in South Batinah

MUSCAT, 18 February 2011 – A festive mood prevailed at Barka Garden on Thursday (16 February 2012) as thousands of citizens and residents joined a community lunch organised by BankMuscat as part of celebrations to mark 2012 al Mazyona Savings Scheme offering a prize money of RO 6 million.

The first-of-its-kind al Mazyona celebrations, which was open to all, marked a major step by the Bank in building and strengthening relations with the communities in Oman. The Bank's senior executives from the headquarters and region were present at the event in which a traditional Omani music band performed to enliven the festivities.

A series of al Mazyona community gatherings have been organised by the Bank across the Sultanate and the next event will be held in Salalah on Thursday, 23 February.
