BankMuscat set to spring a surprise with exciting 2012 savings scheme
MUSCAT, 7 January 2012 – Excitement gripped Markaz Al Bahja mall as Oman's popular al Mazyona savings scheme from BankMuscat turned out to be a grand celebration for Rashid bin Hamed al Shukaili from Rustaq branch who won the second RO 400,000 jackpot prize of the 2011 scheme. H.E Mohammed Abdullah Al Busaidi, Wali of Seeb, presided at the mega event attended by senior bank officials and picked the lucky winner.
Rashid bin Hamed al Shukaili, 52-year-old businessman, has been banking with BankMuscat for the past 20 years. He benefited from the 'loyalty bonus' and his chances got multiplied 20 times, thereby giving him a huge chance to win the RO 400,000 prize.
Al Shukaili commented on the life-changing experience: “I am delighted to win this big prize from BankMuscat. This is an exciting scheme reflecting the dreams and ambitions of people. I always dreamt of winning a prize and it has totally changed not only my life but also the future of my family."
