The bank has requested its customers to utilise the all new omni-channel Internet and Mobile Banking that Bank Muscat launched in late 2019 for greater convenience and a better user experience. Marked by speed, convenience and security, the bank’s state-of-the-art mobile and Internet banking services provide the convenience of banking 24/7.
The new omni-channel Internet and Mobile Banking experience for all customers provides a completely new experience for its customers. What this means is that all Bank Muscat customers will be able to use the same User IDs and passwords for both their Internet and Mobile banking needs leading to greater convenience and better user experience.
Additionally, the bank has completely redesigned the user interface (UI) on both channels so as to provide a simpler navigation and a customer-friendly interface. The The biometric authentication facility on mBanking has been further enhanced to make it more customer-friendly.
Notably, the mBanking application is customised for both iPhones as well as Android smartphones with simple icons and menus. Bank Muscat customers will find the new state-of-the-art Mobile Payments System within the mBanking app particularly useful for secure mobile payments.
The mBanking services include real-time bill payment for Omantel, Ooredoo, Renna and OIFC; fund transfers across the world via the bank’s SWIFT network; speed transfer to India, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka; instant credit card bill payments; Portfolio Financial Management; the disabling and enabling of debit cards for international usage and many more.
The simple-to-use Internet banking service is available 24/7 at https://www.bankmuscatonline.com and allows customers to transfer funds between own accounts, to third party accounts in Bank Muscat, to other bank accounts in Oman, international transfers as well as speed transfer to India, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The bill payment facility can be used to make payments to utilities such as electricity, water, mobile, landline, Internet and Bank Muscat credit cards. The service also provides bill payments or top ups for Ooredoo, Renna and Omantel services along with school fees payments.
