MUSCAT,12 June 2017 - Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, celebrated Qaranqasho with children across Oman as part of the month-long 'Ramadhan Al Khair' programme.
The bank organised a grand Qaranqasho celebration featuring amazing light and sound effects in Al Husn village in the Willayat of Bid Bid. Children turned out in large numbers and enjoyed the night, singing Qaranqasho with joy. The bank employees joined the celebrations and presented gifts and sweets to the children.
The bank also joined hands with Muscat Municipality and supported Qaranqasho celebrations in the wilayat of Quriyat and Muscat Grand Mall. The celebrations included a variety of exciting activities and games. Spicing up the event, the bank organised al Mazyona savings prize draw for children at Muscat Grand Mall.
Bank Muscat has lined up a series of social, cultural and religious activities to mark the Holy Month of Ramadhan. The Tadhamun initiative launched in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development is a major Ramadhan programme which reaches out to social welfare families across the Sultanate, helping them to cope with the arid weather conditions. The programme focuses on distribution of basic electronic home appliances, including air-conditioners and refrigerators, to beneficiary families.
