Bank Muscat to host SME workshop for women

MUSCAT, 04 February 2015 – Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, is hosting a 2-day workshop on 'How to run and manage your business' for women entrepreneurs at the bank's head office on 7 and 8 February. The workshop is organised by al Wathbah, Bank Muscat's SME department, as part of activities aimed at expanding and strengthening avenues for SME development in Oman.

Expert trainers will lead the workshop aimed at serving as a platform for existing and prospective women entrepreneurs to familiarize themselves with the various aspects of running successful SME ventures. Topics to be covered include market analysis and marketing plan, operation plan, financial plan and writing a business plan etc.

Bank Muscat regularly organises workshops and seminars to facilitate unique learning opportunities to address the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and thereby create an environment favourable for SME success.

Over the years, Bank Muscat has launched several initiatives as part of its commitment to SME development in Oman. Serving as building blocks for entrepreneurs, these initiatives assume importance in the backdrop of the priority accorded by the government to develop the SME sector in Oman.
