MUSCAT, 1 April 2012 – Further adding convenience and value-added services, BankMuscat, the flagship financial institution in the Sultanate, has extended timings to provide evening banking in eight branches across the Sultanate. Presently, BankMuscat is the first and only bank in Oman to offer the extended working hours facility from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm (Sunday to Thursday).
The extended timings and evening banking facility are available at the branches in Muscat Inter-Continental, Muscat City Centre, Al Khuwair, Seeb, Al Khoud, Barka main, Sohar main and Salalah main.

We are thankful to the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) for all the support and guidance in facilitating value-added services to the largest banking family. The extended working hours were earlier followed in Muscat Inter-Continental and Muscat City Centre branches. As part of the Bank's vision 'We can do more' and in view of the growing market demand for longer banking hours, the Bank decided to offer extended timings at six more branches effective 1 April 2012."
Al Badai added: “The extended working hours have been introduced for the convenience of customers, businessmen and traders. The new facility is aimed at accommodating people's busy schedules. The extended banking hours at all key locations is aimed at introducing a new service concept benefiting a large category of customers who face difficulties in visiting the bank in morning hours."
