MUSCAT, 07 December 2013 – The Sultanate's flagship al Mazyona savings scheme from Bank Muscat celebrated the RO 500,000 quarterly prize draw at the head office. H.E. Hamad bin Khamis Al Amri, Under-Secretary for Labour Affairs at the Ministry of Manpower, presided as guest of honour at the event attended by dignitaries and a large turn-out of customers and senior bank officials. The highlight of the celebrations was a stage play which conveyed the message of prudent savings habits.
Ten customers covering all the governorates, including one asalah Priority Banking customer, won the quarterly prize of RO 50,000 each. The winners are Ahmed Said from Adam branch, Humaid Khamis (Seeb), Saud Ali (Al Sarooj), Ruskeen Syed (Ruwi High Street), Saleem Mubarak (Bidiya), Rashid Abdullah (Musannah), Dhamin Ali (Bahla souq), Juma Khalfan (Mahdah), Taher Mehmood (Salalah 23rd July Street) and Sheikha Abdullah (Sur). Customers maintaining a minimum balance of RO 1000 for 3 months are eligible for the big quarterly prize draw. The longer the saving, higher the chances to win.

Momentum has started building up for the RO 1 million al Mazyona year-end grand prize which will be shared by 10 customers covering all the governorates, including one Priority Banking customer, who will receive RO 100,000 each. Customers maintaining a minimum balance of RO 1000 for the last quarter of the year are eligible for the grand prize draw.
al Mazyona 2013 scheme offers a total prize money of over RO 7 million. As on date, the scheme offers the biggest prize money in Oman and the region. Notably, the enhanced prize money is shared by more winners as customers from all governorates are guaranteed to win prizes ranging from RO 1000 a week, RO 50,000 every quarter to RO 100,000 at the end of the year. al Mazyona scheme reaches out to all individual segments with exclusive prizes earmarked for ladies, youth, children and high savings balance customers in all regions.
