MUSCAT, 15 November 2016 – Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, has launched an exciting social media campaign as part of the Imprints social responsibility initiative on the occasion of 46th National Day commemorating the glorious achievements of Oman under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said.
The Imprints campaign on Instagram offers a great opportunity for citizens and residents to share their experiences of reciprocating to what the country has done to them in short video clips. The campaign offers attractive prizes with the best entry receiving RO 1000, the second prize RO 500 and the third prize RO 300.
The participants must follow Bank Muscat Instagram account and post their videos on it. The campaign, which runs till 27 November, is open for all but the Instagram hashtag caption needs to be in Arabic. Participants are not required to be Bank Muscat account holders and winners will be selected by a committee based on the quality and creativity of the videos.
Highly ambitious in its scope and reach, the Imprints initiative is a unique public-private partnership in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Tourism, Muscat Municipality and the Public Authority for Consumer Protection.
In line with the 'Let's Do More' vision and commitment to partnership in sustainable national development programmes, the focus of Imprints include four key programmes to inculcate financial literacy, promote sustainable tourism, sustain green environment and encourage enriched lifestyle.
The unique CSR initiative stemming from the Royal directive of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said to accord priority for social responsibility is the first-of-its-kind in Oman in terms of its scope and reach, uniting different segments in making a big difference in reciprocating to what the country has given to people. The initiative marks a big step in the public-private partnership to make lasting contributions to society and the nation.
