The customer can request a demand draft through the Call Centre and the request is processed to get the DD delivered to the beneficiary in around 4 days time Customers would just require to register the beneficiary details with Call Centre to avail of this facility. 

This facility provides convenience to customers of being able to send remittances abroad over the phone. Quick turnaround time and convenience are the key benefits for the customer.

BankMuscat issues and receives American Express Travellers Cheques (TCs) across all branches in USD, EUR and GBP currencies and in numerous denominations.

TCs are a safe, easy way to protect your travel money, while journeying around the world or across the country. TCs provide convenience and peace of mind and can be spent directly at hotels, shops, restaurants and other service centers. TCs are cashed at most of the banks, other financial institutions and exchange houses across the globe.

The purchaser should safeguard the TCs as one would like to do with the cash. The purchaser has to sign each cheque immediately in the top left corner to protect in case of loss and theft. The purchaser should also keep the TCs serial number separate from the TCs.

Lost or stolen cash can mean an early end to any vacation or business trip. But TCs are safeguarded against loss or theft. To obtain refund for lost or stolen cheques, remember to have the serial numbers of your TCs with you. You can call American Express immediately, 24 hours a day on numbers provided to you to all countries while purchasing TCs.
