BankMuscat’s Al Mazyona excitement travels to Sohar

To celebrate the re-launch of their most popular savings scheme, BankMuscat hosted a lavish party in Sohar Public Garden last Thursday. The venue was close to the Youth Complex, and therefore saw a lot of excited youngsters participating in the celebrations as well. The reason, of course, was the new Al Mazyona Big Gift savings scheme, which has increased its prize money from RO 20,000 to RO 32,000 per week. Now, besides the bumper prize of RO 20,000, six regional winners from all across Oman win RO 2,000 each every week.

Details of the new scheme were announced at the party, accompanied by music and dance. A local band entertained the people who had gathered in large numbers, including BankMuscat staff and their families.Every person who attended was given a coupon on arrival. On-the-spot raffle draws were conducted at intervals, with exciting prizes being given away, much to the delight of the crowd. The Direct Sales team was also present and was kept busy opening new accounts on the spot.

A number of dignitaries from the Bank attended the party, including Mr. Ahmed Al Abri, GM Banking, Mr. Said Al Badai, AGM Branch Network, Nasser bin Abdullah Al-Mahrizy, Regional Manager Batinah (North), Abduljaleel bin Mohd. Al Balushi, Regional Manager (Al Dhahira) and the directors of branches for all the Batinah regions.

As Mr. Said AlBadai said, the new Al Mazyona scheme has been created with a view to creating a rapport with its customers. This is the third event in a series of parties hosted by the Bank, the earlier two were held in Muscat City Center in May and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Nizwa in June.
