Family fortunes reversed, thanks to BankMuscat's Al Mazyona Big Gift

A delightful surprise was in store for the heirs of the late Mr. Suwalim bin Ali bin Humeid Al-Hatmy last week when the phone rang. The call was from Mr. Nabhan bin Salem Al-Dhihly, BankMuscat Manager of the Rustaq Branch, informing Mr. Suwalim Al-Hatmy's heirs that they had just won the bumper prize of RO 20,000 with the Al Mazyona Big Gift offer. The overjoyed family couldn't contain their happiness as they reflected gratefully upon their late father's foresight and his simple act that has just reversed the family's fortune.

Mr. Suwalim opened a savings account with BankMuscat two decades ago, and after his demise, the account was transferred to his natural heirs by their maternal uncle, Mr. Hammad bin Ali bin Homaid Al-Hatmy, who is the legal agent in charge of managing this account at the Al-Rustaq Branch. How does the family plan to use the money? When contacted, Mr. Hammad said that Mr. Suwalim's heirs were still undecided on the matter.

Besides the bumper prize winner, there are six additional winners from designated regions in the Sultanate. They are: Faisal bin Abdulla Al Fazari (Muscat); Salim Ali Abdullahh & Faiz Bakheet Al Shanfari (Dhofar); Salim bin Sulaiman Al Hanai (Dakhliya); Ali bin Musabah Al Amri (Batinah); Nasser bin Hamood Al Aghbari (Sharqiya) and Fahad bin Hamed Al Alawi (Dhahira).

Mr. Hammad Al Hatmy received the cheque on behalf of the heirs from Mr. Issa bin Saleh Al Mazroo, BankMuscat's Regional Manager (Al Batina - North) in the presence of Mr. Nabhan bin Salem Al Dhihly, the Manager of the Bank's Rustaq Branch.

Mr. Hammad praised the bank for its wide range of products and services, and urged family and friends to open savings accounts with BankMuscat.

BankMuscat's savings scheme reigns supreme among the Sultanate's banks. The Al Mazyona Big Gift scheme has been revamped recently, and is enjoying its rapidly growing popularity. According to the new scheme, besides the bumper prize of RO 20,000, there are now six RO 2,000 regional prizes from Dhahira, Batinah, Sharqiya, Dakhliya, Dhofar and Muscat.
