Celebration all across Oman as BankMuscat’s Al Mazyona Big Gift 
scheme expands to include 6 regional draws

BankMuscat, the nation’s leading bank, has once more lived up to customer expectations by re-launching their Al Mazyona Big Gift savings Scheme in a new, exciting incarnation. Already the most popular savings scheme in the country, the new scheme has generated great excitement, as it offers more prizes and more chances to win.

In addition to the already existing prize of RO 20,000, there are now 6 additional prizes of RO 2000 each, from 6 regions: Dhahira, Batinah, Sharqiya, Dakhiliya, Dhofar and Muscat. The Musandum region has been included under the Dhahira belt, while Wusta falls under Dakhliya. Thus, in addition to the bumper prize winner, there will also be a guaranteed winner from each region every Saturday.

The prize money now totals RO 32,000 every week, with over RO 1,000,000 to be won in 2002. This makes it by far the best scheme in the country yet again, which has always been BankMuscat’s goal. The new scheme was announced recently in the press, and has excited the imagination of BankMuscat customers all over Oman. As one of them puts it, "Now I have more prizes to look forward to every Saturday, and more chances to win!"

The first draw in the new scheme was conducted at the BankMuscat Head Office on May 23, 2002. The draw was conducted by Mr. Said Ahmed Al-Badai, AGM - Branch Network, in the presence of BankMuscat staff and officials. The RO 20,000 prize was won by Hamed bin Rashid bin Khamis Al Mohsin bin Ibrahim bin Ali Al Lawati - Muscat, Yousuf bin Suleiman bin Mohd, Al-Sheaili - Batinah, Achamma Joseph - Dahira, Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-kamiyani - Dakhiliya, Salim bin Ghanim Name Al - Junaibi - Sharqiya and Saud bin Ali bin Salim qatan - Salalah.

The first group of winners are elated. Next Saturday, seven more lucky winners will celebrate!
