Yet another first from BankMuscat: A Credit Card for SQU students

BankMuscat has launched a new Credit Card aimed exclusively at students of the Sultan Qaboos University. Open to all full-time students of SQU, the card is co-branded by VISA and offers a range of facilities at preferential rates. The card will enable cardholders to shop at all outlets accepting VISA cards worldwide and is issued on an easy and flexible terms and conditions.

Speaking on this occasion, Abdulrazak Ali Issa, Chief Executive, BankMuscat said, “We believe that cultivating savings & responsible spending habits is vital for the youth who are the future of any developing and dynamic nation like ours. And a unique facility such as the BankMuscat VISA SQU Student Card is an efficient money management tool to cultivate such culture. All students will receive a free handbook detailing everything they need to know about Credit Cards - including how to protect it against fraudulent use and how to manage finances which is accompanied by a monthly budget chart. For BankMuscat, it is indeed a great moment to be associated with such a prestigious institution. "The VISA co-branded university card is the first of its kind in the region, yet another pioneering effort from BankMuscat.
