BankMuscat launches Kiosk Banking for First Time in Oman

BankMuscat has launched an exciting concept of Kiosk Banking for the first time in Oman. Kiosks are hi-tech computers, with touch screen technology, and give customers a direct access to a variety of banking related facilities. Literally at their fingertips! Its yet another "Best" from BankMuscat.
BankMuscat Self Service kiosk allows registered customers facilities like balance inquiry, account statements, account-to-account transfers, utility bill payments and requisition like draft, pay order, cheque book, reporting lost ATM Cards, etc. All a customer needs is his Call Center PIN to avail of these services free of charge. However this service offers a host of features to non-account holders also i.e. information about BankMuscat, its branch network, its products and latest schemes for customers - its all there for one and all to check out. There is also a convenient loan calculator where any person can check out his loan eligibility and installment for various types of loan products the Bank has to offer.
The first kiosk machine has been launched in the Main branch in CBD area. The launch Ceremony was attended by most of the Senior Managers of the Bank. In his welcome speech Mr. Saad Al Jenaibi, DGM Retail Banking declared that BankMuscat's vision was to provide the "Best" services to its customers. General Manager - Banking, Mr. Ahmed Al Abri making the first transaction on the kiosk stated that as a part of the Bank's strategy to invest in e-banking initiatives, more such kiosks machines would be soon installed at various prominent locations across the country to facilitate our customers to Bank with us from anywhere.
The Bank would very soon add to its platter of "Best" products other hi-tech services such as
Online banking and SMS Banking, for which extensive testing is going on.
