Retired pensioner wins RO 20,000 with BankMusat's Al Mazyona Big Gift.

"I never knew retired life could be so exciting!" smiles Salim bin Sulaiman bin Said Al-Yarabi. After over a decade's association with BankMuscat, fortune smiled on him and chose him as a lucky Big winner of RO 20,000. Now retired from the Ministry of housing, Salim was in UAE when he received the congratulatory call from MBD Branch Manager. Initially disbelieving, he wondered if it was some sort of hoax - maybe two names got mixed up? It was only when his family excitedly confirmed the news that his good luck really sank in. Asked what he plans to do with the money, he says with a chuckle, " A retired man with a family of ten can find many uses for it!" He plans to use some of the money to renovate his house, finance the education of his children, and maybe invest in a small business venture of his own.

Salim was all smiles as he received the prize-winning cheque from Mr. Said Ahmed Al Badai, Assistant General Manager, Retail Business, Mr. Habib Mohd Habib, Regional Manager, Muscat Region (South) & Mr. Haider Mohd Abdullah,Manager, MBD Branch was present on the occasion. Inspired by his success, a good many of Salim's friends and relatives have now opened savings accounts with BankMuscat. With the single largest prize of 20,000 every week, Al Mazyona Big Gift has quickly become the nation's most popular savings scheme.
