BankMuscat staff visits Carrefour 

October I was a red-letter day for the people of Muscat as the city waited eagerly for the opening of Carrefour hypermarket at the newly-established Muscat City Centre, says a press release received here. People gathered outside the doors well before opening time. But when Carrefour opened, the first hundred customers there all belonged to one family - BankMuscat to hour their association with City Centre.

As a bank with strong local roots and an international outlook, BankMuscat will utilise this opportunity to build a strong corporate relationship with the Majit Al Futtaim Group. BankMuscat has installed 40 POS terminal to accept credit cards of Visa. Visa Electron and MasterCard. A BankMuscat ATM has also been installed within City Centre. The bank also plans to open a branch at City Centre in due course. Expressing his happiness on the occasion, Abdulrazak Ali Issa, chief executive of BankMuscat said: "The move translates into greater convenience for our customers. We are striving for increased customer satisfaction at all levels."
