BankMuscat Announces Winner Of Al Mazyona Dream Draw.

Muscat,January 2004: In an event held at the Muscat city center yesterday, BankMuscat announced Mr. Adil bin Mohd Al-Zadjali customer of Al- Qurum Branch, as the lucky winner of the second RO 100,000 Al Mazyona Dream Draw. Eng Abdullah bin Mohammad Al-Farsi, Director General at Muscat Municipality and Coordinator of the Muscat festival graced the occasion, conducted the Al Mazyona Dream Draw on behalf of the Bank and gave away the prizes to the lucky winners.

Speaking on the occasion, Said Al Badai, AGM, Branches, BankMuscat (SAOG) said,

‘We are delighted with the response that the Al Mazyona scheme has met with in the Sultanate. Al Mazyona is our flagship retail product and we consider the Al Mazyona prize draw a great opportunity for the Bank to give back to the community and spread happiness amongst people, even as we attempt to inculcate traditional values associated with savings.

The event, which also announced winners of the RO. 20,000 draw R. Vaikunth & Vasantha Vaikunth customers of Hattat House Branch, was attended by a large number of people from across the capital area. Entertainment on offer during the evening included face painting, henna, a magic show and a series of popular numbers by the live band that was in attendance. Adding to the excitement was a host of raffle draws, singing competitions and on-the-spot quizzes.

The Dream Draw, which is held every quarter, is part of BankMuscat’s flagship retail product, Al Mazyona, which offers a number of other cash prizes including the RO 32,000 weekly prize draw, which takes place every Saturday.

Elaborating on the how customers can become eligible to participate in the draws, Head – Marketing, Faisal Al Wahaibi, added:

‘The Al Mazyona offers customers a chance to win a host of extremely attractive cash prizes. All customers who have in excess of RO 100 in their savings accounts are automatically entered into our weekly draws of RO 20,000 and regional draws of RO 2,000. To be eligible to participate in the weekly draw of RO 32,000 and our series of RO 100,000 Dream Draws, customers must have a minimum balance of RO 3,000 in their accounts. With every additional RO 1,000, the chances of winning increase.

The next Al Mazyona Dream Draw is scheduled for 1st April 2004, where another lucky BankMuscat customer will win RO 100,000.
