Student from Dibba Al Biya Branch wins RO 20,000 from BankMuscat

Ahmed bin Ali bin Mohd. Al-Shihi, a secondary school student from Dibba Al Biya Branch recently won RO 20,000 in BankMuscat’s Al Mayzona Big Gift celebrations.

A BankMuscat customer for the past nine years, Ahmed Al-Shihi cannot believe his good fortune. He still remembers how the account was opened for him by his cousin. Ahmed plans to keep the winnings in his savings account to assist him in his pursuit of a higher education after completing secondary school. "This is a turning point in my life," said Ahmed.

The news of his win was conveyed to him by Mr. Saif bin Ibrahim Al- Maamari, BankMuscat Manager, Dibba Al Biya branch. That was the beginning of a flood of congratulatory calls and visits from friends and relatives.

The winners cheque was presented to Ahmed by Mr. Abdul Jalil bin Mohd. Al-Balushi, BankMuscat Regional Manager for the Al Dhahirah Region.

BankMuscat has risen the roof of its weekly prizes from RO 20,000 to RO 32,000 to cover the whole of Oman.
