Objectives of the Job
-
Lead the Bank’s real estate advisory
team that is involved in advising
real estate transactions on
financial structuring, project
financing advice, raising debt,
equity, etc.
-
Marketing of advisory and
syndication related services and
developing strong client
relationships.
-
Key responsibility of supporting the
bank’s USD 250 mn. Sector fund.
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Business development including
development of pitch strategy,
preparation of pitch documents, etc.
-
Analyse and understand the project
including review of critical project
agreements and contracts and
understanding the objectives of the
client.
-
Preparation of strategy report
including commercial term sheets on
the basis of client’s objectives of
raising finance and market
realities.
-
Drafting issue documentation such as
Information Memorandum, Term sheets,
etc. and review of legal
documentation
-
Interaction with other advisors such
as legal, accounting, technical,
etc.
-
Lead on Financial modeling
-
Lead the syndication process
including client meetings,
presentations, etc.
-
Lead on negotiations with
lenders/investors.
-
Organise and lead the team on
transactions.

Master of Business Administration
(MBA)/Chartered Financial Analyst or
Chartered Accountant/Equivalent
Qualifications
-
Ability to pitch for mandates in a
competitive environment
-
Excellent oral and written
communication skills.
-
Post-qualification experience of at
least 8 years of which at least five
years must have been in a core
advisory function with an investment
bank/consulting firm/real estate
firm having pitched for advisory
mandates in a competitive
environment.

Experience of financial structuring
in large infrastructure/real estate
transactions is essential.

Experience in independently leading
and managing complex transactions is
a pre-requisite for this position.
