Muscat: BankMuscat, the leading financial institution in the Sultanate, has wrapped up an exciting debit card promotion, announcing the final three winners chosen for a lavish free night's stay in the deluxe suite at Burj Al Arab. The October winner is Abdul Aziz Abdullah al Dhahli from Muscat branch and the November winner is Aqeela Abdullah Ahmed from Qurum branch. The debit card campaign from 1 April to 31 December 2008 was aimed at encouraging customers to use the card to spend instead of just using it to withdraw cash. Besides the monthly grand prize of a free night's stay at Burj Al Arab, BankMuscat debit cardholders were also entitled to win RO 100 as daily prizes. For the monthly prize, customers were required to spend a minimum of RO 50 on his/her debit card in a month while for the daily prize of RO 100, they had to shop with debit card at least once during the day.
