As part of the Bank's policy to provide our customers with world-class banking facilities, we believe in continuous improvement of the products and services being offered to our valuable customers. To serve our credit cards customers better, the Bank has launched the SMS intimation service to credit card holders of BankMuscat.

About SMS intimation service

The Bank would send SMS to its credit cardholders on a "real-time 24x7 basis" whenever any of their transactions exceed a certain value and/or originates from specific countries or merchants. If a transaction is not genuine, the cardholder will report it to the Call Centre to prevent further misuse. Apart from improved customer service, this will help in minimizing financial losses on account of credit card frauds.

Eligibility:

All BankMuscat credit cardholders are eligible

Activation process:

Credit card holders are requested to provide their updated GSM number to the Bank to avail this free service. To update your mobile numbers, call (968) 2479 5555

Additional charges:

This service would be provided to Credit cardholders FREE OF CHARGE
