BankMuscat conducts training program on “Team
Building and Leadership”
Muscat,
May 6, 2007: BankMuscat (SAOG), the nation’s
largest bank has recently conducted a Team
Building and Leadership training programs. This
is part of the Bank’s continuous effort to
provide its employees with learning and
development opportunities.

The four-day training program, which was
conducted by the National Center of Professional
Development focused on team development, goal
setting and team performance, Team motivations,
Effective delegation, Handling conflict and
problem solving.
The course was designed to establish clear
performance expectations and to develop the
ability to deal with poor performance. Moreover,
the objective of the course is to recognize
team’s behavioral patterns, manage relationships
and work effectively within the team.
The BankMuscat training department was set up in
recognition of the Bank’s commitment to
developing human resources in the Sultanate and
its belief that its most valuable resource is
its human capital. To help the department
achieve its goals, training centers have been
established in 7 out of the 8 BankMuscat’s
regional offices so as to ensure that employees
get best of training opportunities near at hand.
The Bank has been recognized as Investors in
People organization and also has been awarded
the People Development Award for three running
