BankMuscat launches twin sales promotion as part
of their 25th anniversary celebrations
Muscat, 06 May 2007 -- On the occasion of BankMuscat’s 25th anniversary celebrations, the
bank has launched a unique twin sales promotion.
In the first promotion, all customers (existing
or new) who open a new al Mazyona Savings
account (with minimum RO 100) or avail baituna
Home Finance/ BankMuscat Credit Card/ Hayatuna
Family Protection Plan will be eligible to
participate in a prize draw. The prize is the
popular new Lexus IS 300 car. In the second
promotion, any customer can refer his friend or
relative to open an account with the bank and
get a chance to participate in a separate prize
draw. The prize here is also the new Lexus IS
300 car. Customers can participate in both
schemes simultaneously and get a chance to win
two cars!
Speaking on this occasion, Abdul Razak Ali Issa,
Chief Executive of BankMuscat said: “It is a

the 25th anniversary of BankMuscat. The bank has
grown from strength to strength by earning the
trust of its customers. As the leading bank in
the country we are striving to expand the reach
of banking services to all segments of customers
and to all parts of the country. This sales
promotion and the sales convoy is our latest
effort at continuing this trend.”
To participate in the promotion all customers
have to do is visit any of the BankMuscat
branches to open an al Mazyona account or avail
of the other three products in the sales scheme.
For the referral scheme, customers simply have
to fill the referral form and either deposit at
any of the bank’s branches or fax to 24784045 or
fill the form online at www.bankmuscat.com. The
existing prize draws for al Mazyona savings
scheme will continue and the special sales
promotion is in addition to the existing schemes
of the bank. Referral forms are available at all
branches, in the sales convoy visiting different
parts of the country and at other convenient
locations.
The sales convoy is an unique concept being used
by the bank to reach to customers in various
parts of the country. The convoy was flagged off
by HE Hamoud Sangour, President of the Central
Bank of Oman in a colorful ceremony to mark the
launch of the 25th anniversary celebration of
BankMuscat on the 29th of this month.
